Dale Drills - Seed Drill
Engineered specifically with Controlled Traffic Farming systems in mind, the Eco XL can provide unbeatable output, maintaining the same unrivaled accuracy and efficiency common across the entire Dale Drills product line. It features the same 12.5mm tine, adjustable row spacing, and parallel linkage-mounted drilling assemblies as the S, M, and L model Eco Drills. The Eco XL can also boast even greater toolbar clearance, further improving its capabilities in heavy trash situations. Available in 8–13.5-meter working widths, the Eco XL is a drill aimed at the large-scale farmer and contractor for whom output is key!
Dale-Drill - Seed Drill
The Eco-L Drill provides a versatile solution for both direct drilling and sowing into conventionally prepared seedbeds. Its unique, quick-adjust system allows for variable row spacing—ranging from 5″ (12.5 cm) to 10″ (25 cm) for cereals, and up to 20″ (50 cm) for oilseed rape (OSR). The tine assembly ensures excellent contour following and precise seed placement, enhancing crop establishment. With a low power requirement of just 20 horsepower per meter, the Eco-L Drill delivers efficient, cost-effective performance.
Dale Drills - Seed Drill
The Eco-M range from Dale Drills encompasses all of the same features of the larger Eco Drill, packaged in such a way that it suits smaller applications. Users will find the same low weight per metre ratio as the larger drill, which in turn leads to minimal rates of compaction and a suggested horsepower requirement as low as 20 hp/m. Detailed CAD modelling and an intensive stress analysis have produced a robust machine, requiring minimal maintenance, thus providing maximum output.
Dale Drills - Seed Drill
The Eco S offers the opportunity to direct drill and sow in conventionally prepared seedbeds. With unique, quick adjust, variable row spacing the Eco S can sow from 5″ (12.5cm) to 10″ (25cm) for cereals and up to 20″ (50cm) for OSR. The Eco S’s tine assembly offers superb contour following and accurate seed placement. The low draught tines on the Eco S provide a truly low cost establishment, whilst a seed and fertiliser kit allows for granular fertiliser placement.
Dale Drills - Mounted Tine Drill (MTD)
With the MTD, Dale Drills have taken a different approach from their previous models by creating a conventional drill capable of direct drilling into well-managed surface trash. The MTD’s simple design makes it quick to set up, while its strong and compact framework, combined with low draught requirements, makes it ideal for use with smaller tractors. Following harrows ensure the drill leaves a level surface, and wheeling eradicator tines are also fitted. A 1.2-tonne hopper allows the loading of 1-tonne bags before the drill runs completely empty, with an accessible platform positioned at the rear of the hopper. The MTD features Accord metering units and uses an RDS Artemis control system, which is capable of variable seed rates on the move and can be linked to an ISOBUS terminal.
Dale Drills - Mounted Tine Drill
Building on the success of the MTD, the MTD+ Stretched Edition introduces key performance improvements designed for more challenging drilling conditions. With a focus on residue management, stability and operator convenience, the MTD+ is well suited to modern conservation farming, particularly in wetter seasons and fields with heavier crop residues. Still compact and light enough to work with smaller tractors, the MTD+ features a redesigned hopper that sits lower to the ground, improving balance and reducing the risk of compaction. The updated tine layout provides greater residue clearance, while the repositioned metering system offers easier access for quicker calibration. As with all Dale Drills machines, the MTD+ is built around a strong, straightforward design that is economical to run, simple to use, and built to last.
