Universal portable reader If you’re looking for a workhorse scanner for your facility, look no further than iMAX+. Lightweight and portable, iMAX+ is simple to use and easy to handle. Simply press the red scan button, localize the microchip and wait until you hear the beep. Once the microchip is read, the unique code is displayed on the backlit display. One 9-volt battery will last for about 1000 readings. After 90 seconds of non-use, the unit will automatically shut down to conserve battery life.
