It offers stable, robust and reliable performance at a great price. The SM150T’s advanced patented electronics and tough build produce a highly dependable sensor with exceptional salinity and temperature stability. The SM150T is engineered to withstand long term burial - the sensor, connectors and cable are all environmentally protected to IP68. It offers moisture accuracy of ± 3% (after soil specific calibration) and the built in temperature sensor achieves ± 0.5°C. The SM150T is a dual purpose probe - it can be used portably for instant moisture readings, or left installed in the soil connected to a data logger, to provide long-term moisture and temperature data.

The WET Sensor has crucial applications in precision horticulture and soil science research and is usable in both soils and growing substrates. It is exceptional in its ability to measure pore water conductivity (ECp), the EC of the water that is available to the plant.

No other soil moisture probe system enables you to monitor your soil water profiles with such ease and flexibility. Install an access tube into the soil, insert the PR2 Profile Probe and press the HH2 [Read] button to display an instantaneous reading, or connect the PR2 to a data logger (GP2 or DL6) and leave the system to record soil moisture changes over time.

The new digital multi-parameter WET150 soil sensor represents the culmination of forty years research and development at Delta-T Devices. Through a number of key design innovations it delivers research-grade accuracy and build quality at a price point not previously thought possible. It is the ideal sensor for research of soil conditions – and for integration into SDI-12 environmental and horticultural measurement/control systems.

The DL6 is a dedicated data logger optimised for use with Delta-T soil moisture sensors. It can be used with combinations of ThetaProbes, SM150 Soil Moisture Sensors, SM300 Soil Moisture Sensors and Profile Probes, and also accepts rain gauge and soil temperature probe inputs. Up to 16000 readings can be stored in memory.

The kit comprises an SM150T* Soil Moisture Sensor, a dedicated HH150 Moisture Meter and a carry case. The cable and connector are watertight – an essential requirement for potentially wet environments. The HH150 Meter displays volumetric water content (% volume). Please note that although the SM150T Sensor has a built-in temperature sensor, the HH150 Moisture Meter does not measure or display temperature.

The ML3 ThetaKit provides researchers with a portable tool for highly accurate, near instantaneous measurement of moisture levels in soils and substrates. The ThetaKit is easy to use. Simply switch the connected HH2 Moisture Meter on, insert the probe pins fully into the soil, and press the HH2’s “read” button to display the moisture measurement. Readings can then be stored with a single button press (if required) – and downloaded to PC later. The kit comprises an ML3 ThetaProbe Soil Moisture Sensor, an HH2 Moisture Meter (readout unit), replacement sensor rods, and a carry case.

The WET Kit provides researchers with a powerful portable tool for assessing growing conditions in soils and substrates. The WET Kit measures and displays 3 important variables that influence plant growth: water content, temperature and pore water conductivity (ECp) – the EC of the water available to the plant. The kit comprises a WET Sensor, an HH2 Moisture Meter (readout unit) and a carry case. Three types of WET Kit are available – each with a different set of substrate calibrations, including coir, peat and mineral wool. The EQ3 Equitensiometer uses class leading ThetaProbe technology to avoid the many problems of water-filled tensiometers. It measures water potential (matric potential) in the range 0 to -1000 kPa and provides an accurate loggable output. It is particularly well suited for use in dry soils.

The recently upgraded WinDIAS 3 Leaf Image Analysis System provides fast, accurate measurement of leaf area and leaf features – making it ideal for plant pathology and phenotyping applications. WinDIAS’s analysis features are well suited to applications where precise colour discrimination is critical. Delta-T Devices was one of the first companies to develop leaf imaging technology for disease area estimation. The WinDIAS 3 leaf area measurement system builds on that expertise, making use of high-resolution camera and scanner technology to provide researchers with an analysis tool that is powerful and yet easy to use. The WinDIAS system is available in three versions – Entry Level System (with A4 scanner), Standard System (with video camera), and Rapid System (which adds a conveyor belt unit, and can process up to 800 leaves an hour).
