Our tank sidewall is roll-formed at the GSI plant using 8, 5 and 6 gauge, prime high tensile steel up to 65,000 PSI (450 MPa). The heavier 5 gauge sidewall allows us to provide taller tanks with our advanced design, compared to other manufacturers who provide 8 gauge as their maximum thickness and rely on lamination to match the 5 gauge strength.

2.66″ Corrugated Narrow Series Farm Bins. Grain Systems “Narrow” series farm bins and grain silos are the original Grain Systems grain bin/silo line. An unstiffened series, this line is a popular choice throughout the United States. With 32″(813 mm) tall sheets it is easy to construct and is produced in three series, the NSL series for general storage and drying, the NHL series for more aggressive drying (and in certain cases the use of multi-auger stirring devices), and the NRL series for use with grain recirculating systems.

The GSI “Wide” series farm bins and silos are an unstiffened grain bin series with 44″ (1118 mm) tall sheets and is preferred by some customers, especially in smaller diameters. This option also allows you to match up with the appearance and peak heights of other wide corrugation bins you may already have in place. The “Wide” series is produced in three series, the WSL series for general storage and drying, the WHL series for more aggressive drying and in certain cases the use of multi-auger stirring devices, and the WRL series for use with grain recirculating systems.
