The new, clean and very effective Dovetail capped glazing system. Here the capping strip and wedge gasket is fitted into the frame of a white finished Dovetail greenhouse. The toughened glass is first placed into the appropriate space. This is done without putting any rubber or foam seal onto the greenhouse frame. The capping strip is then clipped into position. It is important the correct piece of capping is fitted into the correct part of the frame. (If the wrong piece is fitted in error it is very hard to take it out without dismantling the frame). Next the wedge gasket would be cut to length and pushed into the space between the front face of the glass and the inner face of the capping strip.

We supply two types of 2ft wide lean-to greenhouses – the Courtyard and the Terrace. The compact TERRACE 2ft wide lean-to greenhouse is a ‘dip-in’ style greenhouse which has been designed with limited space in mind and can be worked from the outside. It has an eave height of 5ft and a rear height of 6ft. Easily accessed by means of the sliding door, it comes supplied with one level of aluminium staging with treated wooden tops as standard. You can purchase additional staging, roof vents, extend the greenhouse in length, even colour the building for aesthetic value.

Our lean to greenhouse range is practical and versatile. The 4ft wide lean-to can be manufactured by Dovetail either as a glass-to-ground structure, or built onto a dwarf wall, even when space is at a premium. The standard Dovetail Senator Lean-to has the option of a double door dependent on length, with generous head-room when working, and with an eave height of 6ft 2in. Reduced height options are also possible. We can adjust the height or length of any greenhouse – all you have to do is ask.

We are proud of our 10ft wide Majestic range with double doors. All our greenhouses come supplied with integral base and low door threshold removing the need to do any more than supply a firm and level site. The Majestic greenhouse is expertly designed to use special aluminium alloy sections that achieve high strength and even stronger bracing with an extra deep ridge bar for strength where it matters. We at Dovetail Greenhouses go to great lengths to understand the needs of real gardeners. For instance unlike other manufacturers, we make sure all our free-standing structures have generous head room and growing height. The larger width and 5ft 6in sides provide a vast amount of space for growing a wide range of crops.

The Super Majestic range of greenhouses come as standard with double doors, 5ft 6in eave height, 1in door threshold, 6ft 2in high door, an all aluminium frame and built in gutters. Even with our larger buildings we can create a striking feature for your garden. Anything is possible with a bit of imagination.

As manufacturers we have increased the strength specifications required to compensate for these all weather larger sized greenhouses. The 14ft wide Super Plus Majestic is ideal for the serious grower with a large amount of available space. We here at Dovetail take pride in catering for the needs of expert gardeners. All of our larger greenhouses are designed with reinforced underpinning in conjunction with bracing and our heavy weight glazing system to create a super strong structure.

For instance even if you only have limited space, this cleverly designed greenhouse offers maximum growing potential with its extra high 5ft10in eaves and a ridge height of 7ft2in. The 4ft wide Plantmaster comes supplied with one level of treated wooden topped staging as standard. Compact, good head clearance, with sliding door, ensures a comfortable working environment, and if you do have more space available in your garden, the Plantmaster can be extended lengthways up to 12ft. You can even add two more levels of staging to the greenhouse!
