The LD82 with the STC1 Controller is all you need to start drying wood. The STC1 controller consists of a proportional timer to control the drying cycle and a thermostat toa control the heating cycle. Extra equipment such as venting units and supplementary heaters are normally not required. The drying speed is controlled at a rate which will not cause degrade, therefore humidification equipment is unnecessary. The LD82 wood dryer has been designed for the small cabinet making shop, hobbyist, or other craftsman who requires quality kiln dried wood. The system is supplied complete and ready for installation in a small self built drying chamber. No additional equipment is normally required. Your EIPL drying consultant will recommend dimensions of a suitable drying chamber that is matched exactly to your needs.
