Ecostrat - Whole Tree Chip
Whole Tree Chip, also known as the dirty chip, is predominantly used by industry as biomass. Whole Tree Chip is derived from processing whole trees (limbs, foliage, body wood, and tops) through an in-wood chipper. In both hardwood and softwood form, this material has a bark content of ≤ 6%.
Ecostrat - Clean Wood Chip (Debarked)
Clean wood chip, also known as a paper chip, is used in a variety of industries such as pulp, MDF, particleboard, and wood pellets due to its low bark content. In both hardwood and softwood form, this material has a bark content of ≤ 3%.

Ecostrat - Flax Shive
Flax Shive is a by-product of flax stalk processing for the paper and board manufacturing process. This material is ≤ 1” in size and has a moisture content of ≤ 10%. Flax Shive is used as a solidification agent for the oil and gas industry and as bedding in dairy/cattle bedding.
Ecostrat - Wood Flour
Wood Flour is a by-product of MDF mills, Furniture Plants, and Cabinet Manufacturers. It is a very fine product that is suitable for liquid absorption, cattle/dairy bedding, and biomass/heating fuel for industrial use. The sizing and consistency of this product are similar to wheat flour.
Ecostrat - Green Sawdust
Green Sawdust is produced by primary sawmills across North America. Green Sawdust is predominantly used by the Wood Pellet, MDF & Particle Board industries. In general, Green Sawdust has a bark content of ≤ 3% and a moisture content of ≤ 40%. Secondary markets for this material include cattle/dairy bedding.
