Polythene Machines

Linkage Poly Layer for Transplanting

The Poly Layer applies plastic or cellulose film and also earths it up at the side, thanks to plough-shares on the side of the implement. With a special three-point linkage, the Poly Layer can be combined with the Wolf Planter, allowing transplanting and film application to take place in a single procedure. The Poly Layer can also be attached to the rear of the Comeb Bed Former for time saving.

Plastic Polywinder Machine for Agricultural Mulching

This machine was developed for use on plastic when it is not required to be re-used. The plastic is wound onto the spool, the speed of the spool is controlled by an electro-hydraulic valve to suit the forward speed of the tractor taking into account working conditions. When the spool is full the hydraulic arm opens the spool allowing the plastic to fall onto the ground ready for the loader/forklift to remove for disposal. The machine is equipped with two, three-point linkages enabling the machines to be offset depending on the bed width. The machine is designed so as it can be mounted on the front or rear of the tractor.

Net Master - Net Handling Equipment for Crop Growth

The Edwards Farm Machinery Net Master has been developed for laying and removing net or plastic sheets. The Net Master was designed and built for winding in net before harvesting the crop or as the crop grows and is less susceptible to adverse weather conditions. The net can be wound up for reuse or to be scrapped. Reusing the net is easy with this machine as it reverses the drive to put the plastic/net back down on top of a freshly planted crop.

Camera Guided Inter-Row Cultivator

The camera guided inter row cultivator has been built to enable the cultivator to steer its self through the planted crop, removing weeds and breaking up capped soils without damaging the planted crops.

Comeb Inter-Row Rotavator

The Comeb inter row rotavator is designed for rotavating between rows of plants and herbs in all soil conditions. It also breaks up any capping caused by heavy rain. This machine is mainly used for vegetable cultivation. The rotavator heads can be made in any width required and quantity to suit your requirements.

The barrel is suspended on vee belts. Inside a standard machine, you have rubber tubing fitted in a spiral to move the crop along the washer.
