There are several designs of top nets made from various materials. The nets are adapted to the different types of pens, and can be supplied for center support, hamster wheels and birdnet poles. We are able to offer a variety of special products to the fish-farming industry.

A dead fish collector is a tool for collecting and removal of dead fish from nets. Egersund Net has a solid experience with the production of dead fish collectors. The collectors are manufactured with different sizes and materials, and can be delivered with single or double steel ring.

A protective cover is equipment that is used when a top net is being fitted to or removed from a floating collar. It is fitted as a cover on the water’s surface within the floating collar. Protective covers can be manufactured in various sizes to suit different sizes of floating collar. The purpose of the protective cover is to ensure that no fish become caught in the top net.

A safety net is a piece of netting placed between floating collar and boat, and is used when fish is removed from a floating collar. The net is used to prevent fish from falling into the sea, and will prevent fish from escaping. Safety nets are manufactured with netting, and normally a rope is fitted around the edge. Safety nets can be manufactured in different sizes, based on the purpose for which it is intended.

Air hose is used to reduce the volume in a net, mainly in accordance with harvesting (slaughter), sorting or treatment of fish. Air hose is produced in accordance with the requirements for extra equipment in Norwegian Standard NS9415:2021 and Nytek23.
