eLEAF’s irrigation management application detects on-farm water need days in advance. Using satellite imagery, the actual crop water requirements are monitored in real-time. This allows irrigation authorities to anticipate their expected irrigation requests. Individual farms or command areas can be compared and prioritised. Irrigation schedules can be matched to actual crop water requirements. Water allocation will be more efficient and uniform across the system, all resulting in higher crop production and increased local food security.

Evapotranspiration (ET), water that is used in the plant production process, is one of the main components of water balance. However measuring it remains a challenge, leaving water managers with a significant information gap. eLEAF’s PiMapping® technology provides a solution. Based on sophisticated energy balance algorithms, we provide ET data in mm per day, per week or any other timestep. This can be done per pixel, per field, per catchment area or country. Our ET data layers can be delivered in any format compatible with your management system.
