The system integrates a pressurized aeration process in concrete structures (comprising boxes or tunnels) sealed with semipermeable membranes. This technology is engineered for cost-efficiency and ease of construction, effectively minimizing odors, insect attraction, and bird interference. It features a robust three-layer laminate membrane with an antibacterial inner layer, UV-stabilized outer layer, and a breathable intermediate layer, ensuring vapor permeability and odor retention while preventing rain ingress. The plant comprises reinforced concrete compartments for composting, complete with aeration ducts enhanced with metal profiles and slotted plates to ensure optimal airflow without waste intrusion. Process monitoring is facilitated via a control panel with probes for temperature, oxygen, and pressure. The plant is adaptable for diverse applications such as municipal solid waste, biowaste, and sewage sludge composting, and it allows for biological stabilization and RDF production.
