Who are we?

Fassisi GmbH is a 100% privately owned, independent company located in the middle of Germany. We were founded as a spin-off of a human diagnostics company and since 2010 we have been active as an independent company in the field of veterinary diagnostics. We work in a close network with other biotech companies, research institutes, and universities to realise even more complex developments. Our customers are international, ranging from small start-ups to internationally operating groups, among others in the fields of diagnostics, retail, agriculture, and pharmaceuticals. in addition to the supply and development of products, we support them with a tailor-made service.

Examples of product developments

The first internationally established product of fassisi in 2008 was the fassisi BoDia, a multi-parameter test for calf diarrhoea, which is easy to use in the barn. With this test, fassisi was the first company to launch a multiple cassette for this field application. further examples are i.a. the fassisi PaG Test (bovine cow-side pregnancy rapid test as international innovation) or the fassisi GiarDia for the detection of Giardia in dogs and cats with the help of latex particles.

Currently fassisi is working on the establishment of new platforms for on-site rapid test systems using mul- tiplex methods or e.g. the use of aptamers and peptide technology.

We have many years of experience in the handling of sam- ple materials of various species in field applications, and through numerous successful implemented projects we have built up a large knowledge base for the realisation of appropriate test systems for our customers. We work as an agile company with pragmatic problem solutions and rapid decision-making processes as well as with a focus on the pragmatic implementation of projects.
