Our hydrolysis lignin product LIGNOVA™ Crude retains its native properties with a mild extraction process without a sulfuric smell. In wood, lignin binds cellulose and hemicellulose to form a rigid structure. These lignin gluing properties can be used for synthesizing phenolic resin adhesives for the plywood industry. Moreover, lignin can be used in developing thermosetting and thermoplastic materials. LIGNOVA™ Crude is also a potential biobased filler in many other industries or can be further refined into activated carbon, lignin oil, etc.
