Veterinary Oto-Endoscope Set

Medit’s Multi-Purpose Vet-set, features an Oto-endosocpe which has been specially designed by veterinary professionals for universal diagnostics and routine procedures in both large and small animals. These multi-purpose endoscopes feature a 2.7mm diameter with a 108mm working length, and a 0 degree, straightforward view of the inspection area. In addition to this rigid endoscope we have also specially designed 3 interchangeable sheaths for various applications, including external and middle ear Otoscopy, Rhinoscopy, Arthroscopy, Vaginoscopy, and Mini-Diagnostic Laparoscopy.

Veterinary Otoscope with Integrated Working Channel

Depending on the length, width and other attributes, an examination of particular organs, orifices, passages and cavities requires endoscopic tools of varying characteristics. They may vary in diameter, working length, field of view, direction of view, and presence of sheath for one or more working channels, to name just a few. In some cases one instrument can cover a few fields of endoscopic research, thus saving money and adding convenience to endoscopic procedures. For example, the hybrid integrated veterinary otoscope by MEDIT can be also used for cystoscopy and rhinoscopy thanks to its universal design and additional built-in features, along with its primary purpose of looking into ears. This, in turn, leads to increased customer satisfaction and, consequently, to higher practice revenue. In any case, assessment of treatment and follow-up, documentation of findings and client education always remain the main purposes of a veterinarian otoendoscope.

Sheep Laparoscopic Insemination (LAI) Set

When it comes to Artificial Insemination in sheep, due to cross-pleating inside the cervix, which makes it narrow and hard to navigate, normal trans-cervical methods cannot be used to deposit a sufficient amount of sperm. Therefore, the preferred method is Laparoscopic artificial insemination (LAI). This technique bypasses the cervix, by going through the abdomen, to deposit sperm directly into the lumen of the uterine horns, producing a more reliable outcome, with less semen.
