Gandy`s 2.3 cu. ft. Poly Stainless Multi-Purpose hopper allows you to apply fertilizer, granular chemical, seed and small grains.

The 45-lb. capacity Poly Stainless Multi-Purpose hopper allows you to apply fertilizer, granular chemical, seed and small grains. Includes four each, full-rate black metering wheels for granular chemicals and small seeds like alfalfa, canola, etc.; red metering wheels for fertilizer and small grains such as oats, wheat, barley and rice; yellow high-output metering wheels for fertilizer. Operator can easily configure applicator from one to four outlets by simply sliding out the shaft and removing or installing metering wheels and cups. For unused outlets, blanking plates are provided to seal outlet openings.

45-lb. capacity natural color (see-through) row crop applicator with matching lid allows operator to visually gauge remaining product in the hopper. To keep the elements out, a weather-tight lid is held securely in place with two latch straps. Package consists of poly hopper with a one outlet bolt-on stainless steel bottom and slide, resilient rubber rotor bar, "U" frame bracket with 1/2" pre-drilled holes and slots for surface mounting.  Precision cam gauge regulates openings in the bottom to apply the recommended rate. With the cam gauge set to the desired position, granular chemicals and small seeds flow through the precisely regulated openings at a constant rate. Material is continually supplied to the opening by an internal rotor bar powered by an optional 12-volt electric drive, hydraulic drive or ground drive. EM package with tubing, stabilizers and clamp straps are optional. Some assembly required.

For internal agitation an 8` resilient rubber rotor bar comes standard driven by a 12-volt, 1/64 hp, 4 amp electric motor is included. A 25-ft. cord with an in-cab control switch. A U-frame bracket with 1/2` pre-drilled holes and slots is included allowing it to be surface mounted. A hopper extension is available to add an additional 30 lbs. of capacity. For use with feeding systems, silage blowers, choppers, balers or similar systems.

At the bottom, the slots with their angled overlapping design provide even dispersion across the hopper approximate 12" width. Opening size of slots are adjusted with a cam gauge.

6-foot spreader with tow hitch. 9 cu. ft. hopper capacity with approximately 600 pounds of capacity (1.5 cu. ft. capacity per foot). Wheel tread 86 inches (with wheels dished in).  Overall width, 99 inches. Includes hydraulic shut-off, weather-tight removable and reversible covers with spill guards and dual lock-down latches for each cover, adjustable spread plate, powder angles, shur-feed rotor bars and removable stub drive for rotor. Bottom openings spaced 4-inches apart for a total of 18 openings. Note: Tires and rims ordered separately. For hydraulic shutoff, user supplies all hydraulic hoses and NPT fitting.

Wheel tread 110 inches (with wheels dished in).  Overall width, 123 inches. Includes hydraulic shut-off, weather-tight removable and reversible covers with spill guards and dual lock-down latches for each cover, adjustable spread plate, powder angles, shur-feed rotor bars and removable stub drive for rotor. Bottom openings spaced 4-inches apart for a total of 24 openings. Note: Tires and rims ordered separately. For hydraulic shutoff, user supplies all hydraulic hoses and NPT fitting.
