HPS lamps are the standard in the market. The lamps used by Gavita are characterized by their high level of efficiency and long light retention. A major benefit of HPS lamps is the heat radiated directly onto the crop, as this encourages growth, and depending on the crop, the formation of buds and fruit.

The 1000W double ended lamp is the most efficient HPS lamp on the market. The Gavita GAN housing keeps the electronics cool, significantly reducing the possibility of faults and extending its operating life. In independent tests, the GAN fixture came out as the coolest. To distribute the light, we offer the choice of three different reflectors, all of which deliver unprecedented uniformity of light.

Gavita innovated the 750W fixture by introducing a double ended version with a significantly higher efficiency than the traditional single ended fixtures. Top lighting is often insufficient for high crops and dark winters. We developed the GAN Electronic 250 HPS Interlight especially for colder climates with shorter days and dark winters. The compact electronic fixture is easy to install and offers a very cost-effective solution for intermediate lighting, where the distance to the crop permits this.

What’s more, all reflectors are hand-made in house. They are often imitated, but never exceeded in terms of efficiency and uniformity.
