During storage, water becomes contaminated with algae which results in irrigation systems becoming blocked and all of the consequences that entails. Genap has a number of solutions for this in its product range. These cover systems are an appropriate solution for combating algae growth, they also prevent evaporation and to a large extent they prevent contamination of the water.

The SiloFloat meets Ihe demand for a high-quality and worldwide applicable anti-algae solution for water silos. The SiloFloat covers the water surface nearly 100% and can be applied both in an empty and a filled silo. Since the SiloFloat can be installed without tools nor electricity by only two people, the SiloFloat can be placed quick and easy all over the world. The SiloFloat anti-algae system is supplied as one complete system including all necessary components.

Genap provides a variety of liners for water reservoirs. Depending on the application and local circumstances, we advise the optimal liner material. We supply a `full concept` service, from measuring to installation. Water reservoirs are measured using satellite measurements (GPS based technology). A highly precise image of the dimensions and positioning of the reservoir is created.

In addition to floating covers we also supply tensioned covers. This type of cover also prevents the water from becoming contaminated due to algae growth or from dirt blowing in such as leaves, sand or twigs. The tensioned cover is made from black HDPE woven fabric, which is called Genatex® 1000 and which is fitted with an open edge around the sides for fitting a greenhouse tube *) or heating pipe*) into the edge. The cover is tensioned using a tape with ratchet strap, secured to an anchoring post*) in the toe of the dike. Generally used for reservoirs with a width of up to 20 metres.

Genap has developed various types of watertight foil specifically for every imaginable application within the horticultural sector. The silo linings that we produce using these are supplied under the general name Aquatex. And because each user’s requirements and wishes are different various types of Aquatex materials are also available in our product range. You can of course also order our silo linings in any required size, with or without pre-welded outlets.

Especially for storage of different types of water in areas subject to high UV-exposure, we supply a special geomembrane: Aquatex  Extreme. This high-grade, white PVC membrane unites high UV-resistance with the possibility of storing up to 3ppm. chlorofied water. Aquatex Extreme silo liners are furnished with a reinforced, green Genatex 900 Plus hem including rings.

A tensioned cover is the perfect way of covering concrete, enamelled, stainless steel, timber and coated storage tanks up to around 40 metres. Our tensioned cover has a KIWA suitability certificate, number K55382, and is produced and installed in accordance with the BRM guidelines and the Euro standard. The tensioned covers mostly are made from 850gr/m2 high-quality reinforced PVC foil which is provided with a KIWA certificate. The materials used are resistant to slurry, clean and contaminated water, sludge, etc..

The silo consists of corrugated steel plates. These are hot zinc dipped and fully coated with a polyurethane coating.

The Airhat is a cover manufactured from high quality, watertight, reinforced PVC foil. This foil has a high resistance to heat and UV-radiation.

THE solution for covering round silos. A tensioned silo roof is an excellent way to cover a slurry silo. This cover can be used for steel, concrete and wooden silos. The materials used are resistant to slurry and wastewater.
