Kosovo Forest Information System (KFIS)– In a project with the Food and Agriculture Organization of United Nations, Geo & Land is currently working in building a system application aiming to enhance the strategy and policies in forestry in Kosovo. The rationale behind KFIS has been to establish a permanent IT system for forestry. The KFIS System conceptual design groups the functionalities and addresses different concerns through the system. Through module approach, Geo & Land was able to implement and distribute the modules independently of each other.

Kosovo Vineyard Cadastre and Wine Quality Control System is an application built by Geo&Land as part of a project “Maintenance, expansion and enhancement of Vineyards and wine industry in the vineyard region in Kosovo” with the Ministry of Agriculture. Geo&Land modified it into making it a unique application for vineyards and wines. It consisted of creating digital maps of the vineyard and wine industry cadastre in Kosovo in Geoserver/PostGIS format for the new parcel. In addition Geo&Land updated and strengthened the vineyard database and it integrate it in the Kaveko application. This application also offers a functionality for organoleptic control of wine quality.

This system is web-based application for farmer register and grand management of Kosovo. Electronic Farmer Register is built on open standards HTML5, JQuery, JQuery UI and jqGrid. Electronic Farmer Register UI is a responsive design and high performance, which runs with different Browser and Devices. Electronic Farmer Register UI is RAP Application and based on Ajax. Electronic Farmer Register supports user groups and user roles with different levels of permissions and privileges.
