The Geopier Densipact System is an innovative solution designed to enhance soil densification in clean sand profiles, particularly along coastal areas and the Great Lakes. This unique system operates without a conventional tamper or soil compaction chamber, featuring instead a series of tines attached to a base plate. Each tine is engineered to deliver energy into the soil, effectively consolidating the sand into a dense mass beneath the footing, providing significant bearing capacity. The construction process involves advancing the tines through loose sands to reach a denser bearing layer, then withdrawing and redriving to further compact the in-situ sand. Additional sand may be added at the surface to ensure the Densipact element's integrity. The system offers engineering reliability for various applications, including industrial tanks, residential buildings, educational structures, and more, demonstrating its versatility in diverse geotechnical contexts.
