Model GrassRings - Structural Soil Modules

Invented in 1992, GrassRings were the world’s first structural soil modules introduced to the market. This system was the model for all further soil cell modules created. Now, GrassRings (& GravelRings) are used as a structural grid system to stabilize and reinforce grass and gravel.

Model Stratavault - Recycled Soil Cell for Structural Support Modules

The Stratavault is a 100% recycled soil cell with very generous apertures for root growth, without sacrificing the structural integrity of the matrix. Stratavault apertures are also large enough to permit common conduits, service pipes and aeration systems to be incorporated within the structure. The functionality of the StrataVault systems allows for installation as independent modules or as a connected matrix.

Model RootCell - Load-Bearing Structural Systems

RootCells were developed in 2001 as load-bearing structural systems composed of pipe modules filled with quality soil for use in parking lots and sidewalks. The strongest available soil cell system, RootCells allow trees in urban settings to have large, healthy root systems, thriving in quality, uncompacted soil. RootCells structural soil support modules are assembled into a skeletal framework – or matrix – that provides large volumes of soil within a structure for the easy growth of roots, while also supporting sidewalk loads. With 90% soil volume, RootCells promote multiple rooting patterns and maximizes the root area required by urban trees to grow.

Model StrataCell - Large-Canopy Tree Root Growth Module

Representing the fourth-generation of RootCell development, the StrataCell was developed 2007 and in manufactured here in North America. The StrataCell provides a large module with more space for extensive root growth in large-canopy trees.

RootRain ArborVent - Heavy-Duty Cast Irrigation Inlet

The ArborVent is a heavy-duty cast irrigation inlet for heavily trafficked hardscape areas. The RootRain tree irrigation and aeration system maintains long term soil health and fertility by facilitating high volumes of nutrients such as water and oxygen to reach the tree rooting area directly and allowing toxic gasses to escape – all critical factors in tree welfare.
