Grotek was the first to bring engineered charcoal to our industry in 2009 as a means to improve soil quality, plant growth, and to stimulate soil biology. Black Pearl is more than just high-quality charcoal. It is a super mineralized with organic inputs like volcanic and sedimentary rock dust, natural chelates, and kelp extract. The harmony between ingredients provides a dramatic boost to crops when added to any nutrient program. Remember that not all charcoal is the same. At Grotek we use virgin wood fibre from sustainably managed forests charred in an engineered pyrolysis process. Biofuse is a water-soluble microbial inoculant designed to enhance the biodiversity and health of soil ecosystems, particularly in soilless environments. It contains a blend of naturally occurring bacteria, including Bacillus subtilis and Bacillus amyloliquefaciens, with concentrations of 2.48 x 108 and 5.0 x 106 CFU/g respectively. These microorganisms play a pivotal role in improving soil structure and increasing nutrient availability around plant roots, ultimately influencing crop yields. Approved for use in organic agriculture under Canadian standards, Biofuse is applied either directly to the soil or diluted in water targeting plant roots to optimize growth conditions.
