Grow Greenie - Low-Pressure Oxygenation Aquarium Aerator

This patent-pending multi-venturi aerator offers an efficient method to increase dissolved oxygen levels in aquariums and aquascapes without the noise and bulk traditionally associated with air pumps and stones. Operating with a canister filter or water pump, the aerator functions without the need for additional electrical outlets. It features low-pressure oxygenation that is gentle on both fish and plants, making it suitable for a wide range of aquatic environments. The aerator includes multiple hose adapters for easy connection and is constructed in black to prevent internal algae growth. Maintenance is straightforward with an included cleaning brush for venturi holes. Should the air tube become clogged, it can be cleared with a can of compressed air. The unit must be used submerged to ensure it functions correctly, as the inner air tube could disrupt water flow if disassembled. Designed and manufactured in the USA, it leverages domestic materials known for their durability and quality.

Grow Greenie - Fluval FX Canister Filters and Koi Ponds

The Grow Greenie Aerator XL is designed to enhance the oxygenation process in large capacity aquariums and koi ponds, especially suited for use with Fluval FX series canister filters. This multi-venturi device connects seamlessly with a 1-inch hose, and operates effectively with water pumps having a flow rate between 750-2100 GPH (2800-8000 LPH). Incorporating a 1-inch hose barb, this aerator can be directly attached to the stock Fluval FX series hose or any similar pump. It can also be installed in a sump tank using a 1-inch threaded MPT adapter. The aerator draws in 5.5 liters of air per minute when connected to a Fluval FX6 pump operating at 950 GPH. This patent-pending device is produced in the USA using materials sourced from local manufacturers, ensuring high quality and durability. It operates quietly and efficiently, eliminating the need for bulky and noisy equipment like air pumps, spray bars, or air stones, and reduces algae growth by blocking light. Maintenance involves using a cleaning brush to clear debris from venturi holes and avoiding disassembly to prevent malfunction.
