H&S models 410, 412, 415, 612, 614, and 617 have L-shaped front spindles with structural bracing to withstand high stresses from shock loads. The H&S heavy running gears – models 415 through 622 – utilize thrust bearings to assure dependable, smooth turning and straight trailing. The tele-pole is made of structural tubing and the mounting plates have wide spacing between them to reduce sway and increase the strength of the pole. The C-Section reach provides both strength and flexibility without rotating collars.

The H&S Feeder Box is available in a 16′ Front Unload model. Feeder Box can be mounted on a 12 ton tandem chassis with 12.5L x 15 tires, truck mounted, or running gear mounted. A very simple, easy to operate electric-over-hydraulic control box mounts on the tractor or in the truck cab. Available with an optional scale system for truck or chassis mount.

Single axle models are available in 20′ and 24′ sizes. A 24′ tandem axle models is also available. The slant bars help prevent cattle from moving in and out. Slant Bar Feeders are low and have a comfortable height of tank sides. All sizes of cattle can feed with heads in unit (EXCEPT CATTLE WITH HORNS) The inside sidewalls and end panels can be removed for better feeding of square or round bales. The main feed pan is constructed of prime steel with the square tubing around the top of the feed pan. Square tubing is 40% stronger than pipe. H&S bunks are easy to clean out spoiled feed from the feeder tub. No clutter of numerous pipes or tubes are welded in to clean around. H&S bunks feature a 90° turning radius with tricycle front end, 6 hole hubs and wheels, and quick hitch tongue. All models have a full axle all the way through the unit.

The main frame is made of high quality formed steel 10" I-Beams for the rear, and compressed down to 5.13" in the front with full length front gussets. New 25,000# spring axles w/heavy duty spindles are standard. 16 Gauge Stainless Steel Sides.

The center beam is made of strong 4″ x 8″ x 3/16″ steel tubing. Tricycle design front wheels for short turning radius. Tele-Pole with spring loaded locking pin. Anchor points on bale arm endcaps for tying down bales. (BT814) The BT814 has a 14,000# GVW Capacity.

The M9 merger features a 9` pick-up head with independent head flotation. The 42" cross conveyor allows for hi-capacity of crop discharge. All H&S Mergers feature an anti-wrap guard (patented) on the cross conveyor bearings to protect against material wrapping on the shafts and destroying bearings. Replaceable three prong plastic teeth handle the crop gently and the high rear panel prevents spillage over the back.
