We have been asking a lot of questions and doing a lot of listening. Finally, an affordable solution for Electrofishing. The HT-2000 meets and exceeds all aspects of the Electrofishing Guidelines. Battery and electrical circuits are contained in a hermetically sealed, rugged case, integrated on our non-conductive and comfortable pack frame. Our unique telescoping anode pole with crutch-style handle allows hours of fatigue free use … even in strong current!

This kit allows the use of our popular HT2000 Backpack Electrofisher to be used in a small boat for fishing in small tributaries up to 6″ deep and of moderate conductivity.  It is comprised of one or two lightweight anode booms, a junction box, two foot switches, an anode array and a lightweight gas generator.  The aluminum hull can be used as the cathode or you can purchase a cathode curtain.  The small generator is used to keep our Lithium-Ion batteries at full charge for optimum effectiveness.

This kit can be purchased with or without the barge. It allows the use of the popular HT2000 Backpack Electrofisher in deeper but still wadable streams. A metal plate is mounted on the bottom of the barge and up to 3 anode poles can be attached to the junction box.  All poles have operators switches as well as the navigator of the barge.  The small generator is used to keep our Lithium-Ion batteries at full charge for optimum effectiveness.

The Li Ion Charger is specifically designed for our Li Ion batteries and is fully automatic. It is equipped with plugs for internal and external charging and is capable of charging 2 batteries at once.

HT-2000 comes with either a sealed and fused 29V Lithium Ion battery or a single 24V Lead Acid Gel Cell battery pack as the primary power source for the electrofisher. It powers everything onboard except the seconds counter. A fully charged battery can range from 23 to 30 volts depending on the condition and type of the battery.

Our HT2000 Tester will quickly and easily check both youranode and cathode operation before you head out. It is simple to operate and determines if the electrode has any issues. No need to worry about whether the tester has a working battery either. It works off of your HT2000 Electrofisher battery. This unit is light, compact and will fit easily inside your HT2000 field case.
