The J10 Hose Bibb Vacuum Breaker prevents backsiphonage through the exterior hose bibb connection. Back-siphonage can occur whenever a negative line pressure (vacuum or partial vacuum) is present that causes the reversal of the normal line flow. The use of the J-10 Hose Bibb Vacuum Breaker greatly reduces the possibility of backsiphonage and protects the potable water supply from contaminants that may be present in the hose line or irrigation system.

The DG41 is the effective and economical way to prevent the risk of back-flow contamination from outdoor hose bibb connected devices. Constructed of high-strength ABS plastic the DG41 resists corrosion for increased reliability and long-life. Laboratory tested and industry approved since 1984.
