It features controlled curve sawing capabilities, making it particularly effective for processing small logs. The technical specifications include a top diameter range of 80–280 mm, a maximum log diameter of 380 mm, cant height in the chipper canter of 60–270 mm, and cant width in the chipper canter of 68–232 mm. The saw kerf ranges from 3.2 to 4.2 mm, supporting line speeds of 70–250 m/min. Additionally, this machine can produce chip lengths of 20–30 mm and offers options for fixed saws V0, movable saw assembly V14, and movable saws V4.

This machine can process logs with a top diameter of 100-400 mm, a maximum log diameter of 500 mm, and a minimum log length of 3 meters. Additionally, the SL250 2.2 is equipped with various sawing features, including 1+1 optimized and fixed saws for sideboards in both Cant and Rip Saws, and options for movable saws in the Cant Saw (2 to 4) and Rip Saw (1 to 6). The line speed varies from 60 to 200 meters per minute, enhancing operational efficiency.
