The small spading machine is more suited to use in conditions where spread is less important, but where the quality of the spading work counts, which is why a spade without a side twist is used. The machine is available with or without a rotary tiller. The spading machine is excellent for use in glasshouses in the narrow spacesbetween the posts, in tree nurseries, for market gardeners and horticulturists. It is also the ideal spading machine for contract work, such as in allotments.

The Imants 32 series spader is an ideal spading machine for smaller areas and smaller tractors. The spader is suitable for sand, loamy and light clay soils (recommended without crumbler roller on clay soils). Spading machines for sandy/loamy soils. The 27SX and 33SX series are compact and uncomplicated spading machines used in many industries. The machines can be fitted with a crumbler roller. So the primary tillage (spading) and secondary tillage (seedbed preparation)   can be done in one pass.

A totally new concept in rotary spading machines for sandy and light clay soils. The 48SX machine is faster, lighter and stronger than its predecessor. The latest changes means spading becomes even more attractive as the machine is also equipped with a seedbed preparator. Simultaneous primary and secondary tillage. In combination with a drill or a planter cost reductions are even greater.

Spading and subsoiling in a single operation!. Out in the field, there is a need for a cultivator that can easily be combined with a spader at low cost and with less tractive force. It has been found in practice that compaction occurs deeper than the surface soil under some conditions. You want to break up this often poorer subsoil but not to mix the surface soil. It is important to create so-called “cracks” so that air and plant roots can penetrate to deeper soil levels. There is also no longer hard pan that retains water and directs it upwards (capillary action) and downwards.

The Imants GreenWave is a compact, lightweight, tractor mounted linear decompactor for  fine turf areas. Ideal for compact tractors of around 24-30hp, the GreenWave is designed for relieving compaction to a depth of 150mm, using 8mm thick, forged steel blades.
