Entomology and Ecology
InsectaBio - Insect Aspirator with Ø12 mm Pick-up Straw
To draw insects into the collecting chamber, most aspirators or pooters are designed so the user must suck air to create negative pressure. Some insects, such as ants and beetles, can emit particles harmful to the human body. There are also cases when desired insects are collected from feces or carcasses. Our HB-type aspirators decrease risk of swallowing hazardous particles by blowing air into aspirator with a hand-held syringe bulb instead of sucking air from aspirator. Insect pick-up straw can be turned to any direction. Easy to adjust angle between vial and insect pick-up straw. Four vials (DP0036, DP0079-5) are included for insect collecting and insect storing use.

Insect Rearing Cage
InsectaBio - Insect Rearing Tent
Of the same dimensions as the BugDorm-2120 insect tent, instead of using 96 x 26 mesh Polyester, this BugDorm-2120F is sewn using fine 150 x 150 mesh Nylon to effectively keep aphids, thrips, and parasitic wasps from escaping or entering the tent. The BugDorm-2120F is constructed so that the support poles are outside the enclosure. There are no places inside the BugDorm-2120F insect tent for insects to hide.
InsectaBio - 5-Units BugDorm-1 for Insect Rearing Cage
The all-time popular BugDorm-1 insect cage was first introduced to world entomologists in 1996 at the 20th International Congress of Entomology in Florence, Italy. It`s modular design for easy cleaning makes BugDorm-1 an ideal rearing or breeding cage for disease vectors and agricultural pests such as mosquitoes and houseflies.
