Invicta Trout was built in 1973. It consisted then of a large Hatchery and a traditional Danish style earth pond system producing 120 tonnes of Rainbow Trout per year.

Since then it has expanded to a stage where we have three farms producing a total of 600 tonnes per year for both the table and restocking market. At the main table farm we produce well in excess of 100 tonnes per man at an FCR of 1:1 whilst at the same time looking after the restocking market.

Over the years we have gained much practical experience in hatching and rearing trout to all sizes including the use of O2, aeration, recirculation, leaf control, grading, disease management, transport and all aspects of husbandry and production planning.

We have now decided to develop our business further through the launch of our advisory service.
