The Hydraulic Lumber harvester is a unique portable machine. It is designed to transport to a logging site for total or partial processing of logs into lumber.

Oil-impregnated UHMW nylon wear inserts. UHMW nylon wheels with tapered roller bearings. Fully variable hydraulic tapers, 6" in/out. Straight-line AR400 dogs slide on 2-15/16" shafts. Gear racks in line with log where they belong. Built-in turn-downs since 1972, no add-ons to buy. Setworks options: hydraulic to linear positioner.

Heavy rectangular tube frame with enclosed chain return. Roller-type industrial chain means less wear and longer life than drag chains. -   Stops on loading end to keep logs from falling back off when loading. Deck front is heavy-gauge steel plate with hydraulic stop & loader built-in. Heavy-duty D80 drive is available with cither electric or hydraulic motor.

Eccentric arm gives top performance on both large and small logs. Lifting action for smooth, gentle turning of big, heavy logs. Gentler and more precise than chain types. Docs not require a hole in the floor. Also has slappcr arm for pushing cants up snug against the knees.

Sec-thru design with individual sawdust chutes provides unparalleled visibility. Heavy, rigid formed steel frame with built-in top C-facc motor mount. (V-bclt drive from the bottom is also available). Dual-keyed 2-7/16" arbor with brass-sleeved steel collars is standard, splincd arbor is also available.
