JB Hydroponics has developed a new gutter that prevents root problems and that is stronger than the existing steel gutters. A substrate support plate (SSP) is part of the system, this is a plate made of PP or PVC material on which the substrate rests.

JB Hydroponics has developed the JBH Container System. It is a system consisting out of 2 steel drain gutters supported by steel supports. The containers fit exactly into the drain gutters and can’t fall off because of the legs underneath the containers. The steel gutters are made of galvanized steel with a PU coating, which protects the gutters against EC and pH influences. The supports are also made from galvanized steel and the height is adjustable. So the JBH Container System is a very beautiful, solid and completely closed system with a perfect drain water collection and maximum air circulation. This system is ideal for Roses, Gerberas or Anthuriums . Big advantage of the container is that the sides can be pulled out the container, so one can make a large row when preferred (see picture).

The EPS system is a durable gutter system on the ground, specifically designed for each customer and each crop. The system comes with foil and drain hose for proper drainage water control.

Besides the EPS and steel/ aluminum systems we also supply the PEVAL A.P.S. system. This stands for Aqua Plant System. It is a unique system whereby plants will be put on a special capillary mat which is placed on a special shaped PE liner with on both sides a water buffer.The thin mat reaches into these buffers and in this way there is a 2-way water transport. The plants will be irrigated by a normal drip system and have their roots in the mat and in the buffers.

Oxygrow is an environmental safe, inert foam substrate, which is perfectly suitable for the cultivation of vegetables and flowers. Oxygrow lasts for many years and that’s why the annual costs of this high quality substrate are very low. This foam substrate is very homogeneous and can be used up to 10 years. OXYGROW substrate, which is known for an excellent control of EC and pH, quick drain water discharge, has very low annual costs and it can even be handled under the wettest conditions without any damage. OXYGROW is used for vegetables and cut flowers.

Cocopress is a cocopeat substrate obtainable in blocks and slabs for almost all cut flowers and vegetables. It is a natural substrate, which is used in many countries around the world with excellent growing results for quite a number of years already. Cocopress is an environmental friendly product, no waste afterwards and moreover very economically priced.

A solid system especially designed to support loose substrates and to collect the drain water in a separate drain water channel. Containers are made out of black or white, UV stable, steam sterilisable polypropylene. The container system is used for many different substrates for growing vegetable and cut flowers. JB Hydroponics can advise and design the best solution for each culture on substrate. In fact most of our systems are tailor-made for each and every customer.

Our tubing and connection parts for drip irrigation systems are made out of quality materials for heavy duty. Irrigation systems will be fully designed according your demands. We supply a wide range of corrugated drain pipes made out of PE and PP for collecting water in gutter systems, on the ground or deep in the ground. The dimensions vary from 25 to 160 mms, wrapped with or without different filter materials. Additional parts such as connectors, stops etc. are available.
