Jordan - ATV Seed Drills

We designed and built our first ATV Seed Drill almost 40 years ago to use in our contract side of the business. It was the first purpose built ATV drill on the market, and is probably still the best. Originally made for sowing ancient meadow and wild flower mixes, it soon became recognised as the "go-to" tool for crop patching, grass seeding, over seeding, sowing game cover or just carrying out conventional sowing, appealing to small and large farmers. Whatever the job, the Super Sow-Lite is the perfect choice, supported by years of experience. Developed in 1986, It can be used with ATVs, UTVs and Compact Tractors. We have machines in Europe, Ireland, throughout the UK and there is even a drill working on Crete for crop trials, and now also 2 machines on the Scilly Isles.

Jordan - Mounty ATV Mounted Drills

For smaller or sensitive areas of crop patching, grass seeding, over seeding, game cover or for just carrying out conventional sowing the Mounty ATV drill is an excellent machine for the job. Introduced in autumn 2017, it is one of the only drills available for mounting onto the ATV itself. It is available in a number of builds to suit the size of ATV or UTV it will be mounted on. There are choices of width, hopper size and also row spacing. It can do mostly all that its big brother the Super Sow-Lite can do, but is more suited to smaller areas.

Jordan - Mounted Drills

For larger areas and larger tractors, our VEGA models are available with Cat 1 and Cat 2 three-point linkage, with sowing widths from 2M up to 3M. Also available in a choice of row widths, they have all the main features of the smaller Super Sow-Lites. A good machine for the smaller farmer, the VEGA is equally at home sowing cereals, grass or game cover.

Jordan - Curlew Row-Crop Drills

The CURLEW is a new drill featuring adjustable row width and is the perfect choice for row crops. Also a good choice for game cover crops. It is available in widths up to 4mtr and can be fitted with one to ten units (depending on width) It is a good choice for sunflowers, maize, pulses, stubble turnips, fodder beet and other similar crops where it may be required to change the row spacing. This is made simple by unclamping and sliding the units along the tool bar. As standard it comes fitted with fittings for Cat 1 or 2 linkage mounting, but can be built as a trailed unit for working with ATVs and similar prime movers. There are a choice of coulter types and also a number of metering options. Variable seed rate is controlled from our new Mini-Vari variable speed drive unit.
