K&M Lawn, Garden and Arborist Supplies` story begins with the acquisition of the oldest family run business in Culpeper, VA, formally know as J.A. Swan, Jr. and Company. The then J.A. Swan, Jr. and Company began in 1901 and grew to be one of the largest Stihl dealerships on the east coast. Owners, Stephen Corbin and Greg Funk acquired J.A. Swan, Jr. and Company on June 1, 2007. Given their forward thinking Steve and Greg seized the opportunity to acquire the areas` largest arborist supplies retailer; Blue Ridge Arborist Supply in October of 2011.

In addition to the Stihl line, K&M Lawn, Garden and Arborist Supplies carries Scag, Exmark, Oregon, Husqvarna, and Honda equipment to name a few. Our arborist lines consists of many known, trusted names such as; SamsonRopes, New England Ropes, Yale Cordage, Buckingham Mfg.,Weaver Leather, Petzl, and CMI among many other arborist equipment manufacturers.
