Silage Safe – Surface Tensioning Mesh Cover System
Silage Safe – Surface Tensioning Mesh Cover; A unique cover system with full surface tensioning, To further protect the clamp after sheeting, Silage Safe, a patented product, offers a tensioning system that allows fast and efficient covering, allowing the silage to be rapidly sealed in an airtight envelope with the minimum of physical effort. The latest in clamp covering.
SilaPactor - Consolidating Clamp
Better compaction in the clamp means better quality feedstock. Many AD plants in the UK have already benefited from using our award winning SilaPactor to improve clamp density and therefore reduce losses caused by yeast and mould activity in the presence of air. With a SilaPactor you can achieve up to 40% more compaction when compared to using only a tractor.
CrimpSafe - Crimped Grain Preservative System
Add a different dimension to your feedstock by using crimped, preserved grain - manage retention times and throughput more efficiently. Feedstocks that have a high level of sugar or starch ferment more quickly than those with more lignin or cellulose. The more straw in the feedstock the greater the amount of lignin and cellulose. With the grain able to produce more than 80% of the biogas, using only the grain gives a high-value feedstock complement to silages.CrimpSafe 300 is the essential preservative for effective preservation of high value, high moisture crimped grains.
ClampNet - Clamp Management System
An integral part of the clamp management system in order to give maximum protection to your valuable, ensiled feedstock.
Gravel Bags and Belts
Use gravel bags and belts to help weigh down the O2 Barrier sheeting and ClampNet to secure the clamp and help prevent air ingress. AD Feedstock Solutions’ gravel bags and gravel-bag belts are made from the same material and to the same high-quality criteria as ClampNet – a 300g/m² heavy-duty mesh.
Grain Processing
Murska - Grain Crimping Machine
The Murska 220 SM is the product of long-term development to provide farmers with a versatile, simple-to-operate roller mill for grain processing. The spring-loaded, gear-driven rollers, with a 2mm fluted and hardened surface, will process cereals or pulses at up to 1.5t/hr. Available with either pto or 3 phase electric motor drive options, the compact Murska 220 SM can fit in to most on-farm dry grain processing systems. A range of ancillary options are also available for the automated transfer of grain to and from the mill.
Murska - Grain Crimping Machine
The standard Murska 350S2, supplied with Murska’s unique, belt-driven, tempered-steel, 2mm fluted rollers, is an entry level machine with a crimping output of 5 – 8 tonnes/hour and is suitable for farmers with modest quantities of grain to crimp or dry roll and who wish to be independent of contractors. The Murska 350S2 will process the full range of grain, including maize and pulses with moisture contents up to 45%. Supplied with three-point linkage mounting as standard, a trailed option is also available.
Korte - Grain Crimping Machines
Next in the range is the Korte 700S2 HD which, like all the Korte machines, is a heavy-duty machine with gear-driven, tempered-steel, 2mm fluted rollers. With a typical crimping output of 10 – 16 tonnes/hour the 700 is suitable for larger farms and small-scale contractors.
Korte - Grain Crimping Machine
With typical output in excess of 20 tonnes/hour the trailed Korte 1400S 2×2 Max has two pairs of gear-driven, tempered-steel, 2mm fluted rollers and can also be equipped with a ‘bagging arc’ to enable plastic tube storage of processed grain. Mounted on a tandem-axle 40kph chassis with hydraulic brakes and full lighting equipment, the 1400 is a popular choice for large-scale farmers and contractors who will need to process big quantities of grain in short periods of time.
Murska - Grain Crimper
Boasting an impressive output of up to 80 tonnes/hour, the latest addition to the Murska/Korte stable of crimpers delivers the performance requirements of large-scale farming operations, including contractors and animal-feed blending plants.
