Saeplast is the top name in rotomolded insulated containers.  The Sæplast insulated seafood containers are specially designed for depuration of shellfish and for life storage of various crustaceans. The traditional use is to stack the containers up and let water flow between the tubs through internal piping, thereby collecting contaminants at the bottom of the container. The Sæplast insulated seafood containers are double-walled with a PUR core. These containers are part of system installations that provide better water and space utilization than previous methods of using pools for depuration. Commercial lobster traps are made to your specification. We construct our traps from 1.5″ 10 or 12 gauge marine grade vinyl coated wire.  There are several configuration options, including our new ‘Rock Hard” embedded runners.

Ketcham’s “YotPot” recreational lobster trap has been part of our business since 1975. Each trap comes complete with a buoy, 50 feet of line, 600 pound breakaway link and bait bag. It is light weight (about 20 pounds), easy to handle and stows well.

Each bag holds up to 225 full size (3 inch) oysters.

Feature 2 x Flow N Grow 16L liter floats with cap at one end.  Trays may be sunk for the winter, or ahead of storms.
