Further plus points are the larger, comfortable cabin and new automatic drive for relaxed working, and the hydraulically extendible maintenance platforms for fast and easy maintenance. Performance: Diesel engine with 242 kW. Windrow cross section at 45°: 6.2 m². Throughput: up to 4000 m³/h.

Komptech Topturn - Compost Turner for Triangular Windrows

The Topturn X series is getting a new member. With the Topturn X5000, Komptech presents a modern machine with the ideal combination of performance and design features. The new Topturn X5000 is the perfect machine for the five metre wide by two metre tall windrows used at many larger facilities. With a sturdy frame, powerful hydraulics and large drum, the turner is ready to handle any work situation. There is a choice of two power levels - 205 or 250 kW for the X5000. That lets customers choose the most efficient model for their particular needs. A comfortable cabin, with power lift if desired, and roomy maintenance platforms that fold out hydraulically are further plus points. Performance: Diesel engine with 205/250 kW. Windrow cross section at 45°: 6.2 m². Throughput: up to 4000 m³/h.

Komptech - Final Compost Treatment System

In countries where separate organics collection is not yet in place or only partially so, the production of “quality compost” from municipal waste is the only way to meet the demand for compost. Even where organics are source-separated, trash can get put in the wrong bins, and improper prior treatment can result in contraries like glass, stones and plastic getting into the material. For Komptech compost preparation, the compost to be cleaned needs to be sufficiently cured or dry. Preparation starts with drum or star screening. The material is normally separated into an undersize fraction of 0-15 (20) mm and an oversize fraction. The undersize fraction is cleaned of contraries in one or more air separation steps, and then forms the product. Following cleaning by wind sifter, stone separator or a combination thereof, the oversize fraction can be returned to the rotting process.
