Koppert Machines has automated the sowing lines completely for Koppert Cress, the best-known cress producer in the world. The extremely healthy and different cresses are grown on a pulp medium which is dosed from mix tanks to the sowing trays. Various types of sowing units, arranged in a fixed set-up, are possible due to the large diversity in seeds. Due to this, the trays, containers or beds to be sowed, can go through the unit using a conveyor belt. Various layouts are possible to get a perfect sowing image. This method of sowing is mainly used for cresses and products which are not grown on open ground. The frame of the machine is made entirely of stainless steel. The machine is maintenance-free due to this. The machine is made as per the requirements imposed by the ARBO [Dutch Safety, Health & Welfare Service Act], ISO 9001 and EC.

All wheels are controlled independently and hydraulically, so that the extra large profiled belts have optimum traction continuously on soil that is sometimes difficult to access. The harvester is very stable, yet compact and manoeuvrable. Specially developed for crop on beds. The harvester is available in a 9, 12 and 14 SS harvest bed.

The fully automatic cup and/or bucket filling machine singulates stacks of cups and/or buckets and places them under a fixed filling position. After filling, they are provided with a cover that is pressed on and placed on a conveyor belt for further processing. The machine is suitable for mini greens and various kinds of fruit succh as cherry tomatoes, radish, mini peppers, snack carrots, berries, fruit, gingerbread cookies, nuts, yoghurt, etc. The filling machine offers options for applying a label, and if desired, an inkjet printer can be mounted on it. Where four people are required elsewhere, just one person can do the work here with this cup filling machine.

Completely automated weighing system for Snack peppers and other fruit crops. Specially developed for snack peppers which is packaged in trays or bags. The system has an automatically dosed supply by means of a tilting lever or manual input in 60x40 boxes. A bunker with vibratory feeder, which feeds the peppers in a controlled manner to the picking belt with sensors and conveyor belts ensures conveying to the reading table rolls for manual input. The system is entirely programmable using PLC and touchscreen operation. It is also possible to weigh 3 different colours per portion with an extension to the conveying system and a part of the Multihead weigher. This set-up is used for the Mix packaging.
