Mussels
Kramer - Full Automatic Weighing-Packing Line
The Full automatic weighing-packing line is designed to weigh mussels and pack in trays. The Weigh unit funnel is filled through a conveyor. In the weigh unit portions are made. After weighing the underlying tray is filled with mussels. The conveyor now takes a step and places an empty tray under the weigh unit. The denester takes care of the supply of empty trays. After filling, the mussels are compacted with a vibrating plate so that no mussels protrude above the edge of the tray. After vibrating, the filled trays will come under the seal machine. Here the top of the tray is sealed. After sealing, the trays come out of the machine and can be further processed.
Kramer - Mussel Cleaning Machine
The C700 Mussel cleaning installation is designed to declump and sort mussels. Also, the byssus threads of the mussels will be removed. The installation is made up of components listed below, but all components are also available as stand alone machines or in combination with other processing machines.
Mussel Declumper with Rinsing machine
The DC700S Declumper with Rinsing machine is designed to declump, to sort and to rinse mussels. The mussels, whether or not clumped, are fed to the Declumping machine at the top of the installation. In the Declumping machine the mussel bunches are separated by brushes. Via the underside of the Declumping machine the separated mussels and the waste come in the Rinsing machine. In the Rinsing machine, the consumption mussels are rinsed and separated from the waste. The Declumper with Rinsing machine is available as a stand-alone machine or in combination with other processing machines.
Mussel Barnacle Remover
The BR600 Barnacle remover is designed to remove barnacles from mussels. The mussels are fed to the Barnacle remover. The removing of the barnacles is done by means of a rotating perforated drum with therein a mill rotating in the opposite direction. The drum rotates in a water-filled collection bin. The abrasive effect releases the barnacles from the mussels. The cleaned mussels are discharged via a conveyor belt, the barnacles enter the collection bin. The Barnacle remover is available as a stand-alone machine or in combination with other processing machines.
Oysters
Atlantic Oyster Drill Collector
Shellfish Protection has developed the Atlantic Oyster Drill Collector and now marketed. The Atlantic Oyster Drill Collector consists of a cork with loose bars and a basket of perforated stainless steel. The consumption oysters are wiped up and cross over the bars, leaving the Atlantic Oyster Drill collected in the basket. The Atlantic Oyster Drill Collector is manufactured under licence by Kramer Machines.
Shrimps
SMG - Shrimp Sorting Machine
The SMG190 Sorting machine is designed to separate shrimps and by-catches. The undersized shrimps are also separated from the consumption shrimps by thickness. The main part of the sorting machine is the rotary drum. The drum consists of 3 parts: the inner drum, the outer drum and the crab drum. The catch first passes through the inner drum. Here the shrimps and the coarse by-catch are separated. The undersized shrimps are then separated in the outer drum by thickness from the consumption shrimps, and partly the smallest flatfishes disappear from the catch. The crab drum, fitted with sort slots in which a shrimp fits exactly, removes the last by-catch elements from the consumption shrimps. Due to the specific shape of the sort slots a certain size of round fish is sprayed back with water. The round fish can therefore leave the drum intact without clogging the drum.
Kramer - Shrimp Cookers
Conventional cooker met tilting basket. The KK160 Cooker is a simple solution for cooking shrimps on board. The cooker consists of an insulated stainless steel shell with water reservoir. In the water reservoir hangs the tilting basket in which the fresh shrimp are cooked. After the desired cooking time, the tilting basket removes the shrimps from the water by manual or electrical operation.
Nuts
Kramer - Sizing Shaker
The Sizing Shaker is designed to separate dry, loose product by size. For example, the Sizing Shaker can be used for peanuts, almonds and beans. Through the entry funnel, the product flows onto the sieve screen. The largest parts remain at the top of the sieve screen, the smaller parts fall through it. The different sortings are each discharged via their own gutter. The shaking chute mass is compensated by a weight moving in an opposite direction. This ensures good, quiet operation and long life. The sieve screen can be removed quickly and easily. Below the sieve plate is a ball tray placed. The balls contained herein make sure that the sieve screen is not clogged so that the capacity remains as high as possible.
