LI-COR - Model LI-6800 - Portable Photosynthesis System

The LI-6800 Portable Photosynthesis System simultaneously measures photosynthetic gas exchange and chlorophyll a fluorescence over the same area in plants and aquatic samples, revealing additional insights into photobiology. Highly extendable, it is capable of measuring gas exchange from soil, insects, and many other sample types for countless experiments.

Ecosystem Monitoring and Analysis Tools

LI-COR Water Node - Actual Evapotranspiration Measurements

Quick and streamlined actual evapotranspiration measurements. Know your actual water use. When water is precious, managing it requires increased precision. Traditional methods provide estimations of evapotranspiration (ET). Instead of estimating, modernize your ET measurements with the Water Node from LI-COR. Our streamlined, all-in-one solution quickly gives you directly measured, actual evapotranspiration data. The Water Node uses a single sensor–the LI-710 Evapotranspiration Sensor–to deliver accurate, actual ET measurements. Easy to install or move, the sensor connects automatically to cloud-based software where you can get trustworthy data to make confident decisions about your water use.

Light - Light Measurement

LI-COR - Model LI-190R - PAR Quantum Sensor

The LI-190R measures Photosynthetically Active Radiation (PAR, in µmol of photons m-2 s-1). It provides accurate measurements—in the open, in greenhouses, under plant canopies, or in growth chambers—for most broad-spectrum light sources, including natural sunlight, artificial, or mixed sources. Plants use light in the wavelength range from about 400 to 700 nm to drive photosynthesis. The efficiency with which plants use light varies somewhat across this range, but McCree1 showed that measuring PAR provided a consistent way to predict plant photosynthetic response regardless of the spectrum of the light source.
