Life Diagnostics manufactures purified antibodies for acute phase proteins from different species. All rabbit and goat polyclonal antibodies are affinity purified on antigen-coupled agarose. Monoclonal antibodies are purified using gentle conditions from serum-free culture medium. Specification sheets for each product may be accessed by clicking on the “Info” buttons. We began producing mouse monoclonal antibodies in 2011. Our goal is to generate monoclonals for key acute phase biomarkers in companion animals and livestock. At present we manufacture monoclonals for dog haptoglobin, cow haptoglobin, cow SAA3 (milk isoform), cat alpha-1-acid glycoprotein, cat SAA, and horse SAA.

Life Diagnostics offers immunoglobulins from species including rat, monkey and pig. These are products that we found difficult to obtain and purified primarily for our own use. Excess inventory is listed for sale as a courtesy to our customers.

The salmon cardiac troponin-C (CTNC) ELISA allows measurement of CTNC in atlantic salmon and rainbow trout serum. CTNC is released into serum from damaged heart and slow-twitch skeletal muscle. It can be used to monitor diseases that cause muscle injury.
