Paladin is available in several models. Paladin, Paladin Dual and the Paladin TG and two widths of 21”(533mm) and 24”(610mm). Lloyds Paladin self propelled Mower gives the finest cut to the finest turf on bowling greens, tennis courts, cricket squares, golf putting greens etc, Playablity is seriously affected by the finish demands the mowing excellent provided by the Paladin.

Lloyds Paladin Dual has been developed to give the precision adjustment demanded by the requirements of today`s fine turf managers. For the best finish an infintely variable adjustment is required to give the perfect cut.

Lloyds Paladin TG has all the features and performance of the Paladin but with the added benifit of a groomer which is fitted very closely between the cutting cylinder and the grooved front roller. For turf conditioning, whilst cutting the groomer aids healthy growth by removing the lateral grasses and other debris thus further aiding the playability of the surface.

The Carrier comprises a pair of wheels, an extended shaft and a stand fro raising the mower to enable easy fitment and removal of the wheels. The 95mm wide rubber tyred wheels are ratched for easy steering.

An adjustable rake assembly can be fitted, to operate between the front roller and the cutting cylinder this enables teasing of the grass prior to cutting. Thus aiding removal of dead grass and other debris.

The vertirake has been developed to remove laterally growing grasses and general debris to help promote healthy growth. It consists of hardened discs spaced 19mm apart. Height adjustment us via the normal front roller adjuster. It can be easily fitted and removed and is adjusted to suit ground conditions.

The tugsten carbide tipped vertirake is also used to remove laterally growing grasses and debris with a more aggressive blade, which has tugsten carbide tips for added life and performance of the blades. This blade also has the benifit of a fan action, which helps to ensure the grasses and other debris are deposited in the grassbox.

An optional high grade aluminium grooved front roller for the Paladin can be supplied reducing ground contact thus minimising rolling prior to cutting, giving a closer cut and an improved finish.

Lloyds Leda Standard units have 190mm diameter cylinders 760mm wide. They can be fitted with cast wheels of 430mm diameter or 460mm diameter pneumatic wheels. Cutting cylinders are supplied with 4, 5, 6, or 9 blades.

Lloyds Leda Giant units have 254mm diameter cylinders 760mm long. They can be fitted with cast wheels of 480mm diameter of 508mm diameter pneumatic wheels and is fitted with a 6 bladed cutting cylinder. The cutting cylinders are forged from high carbon chromium steel for ultimate durability and cutting edge retention. The bottom knife is forged from the same high carbon steel and screwed to a heavy duty steel bar to ensure maximum rigidity. Leda unit wheels, gear trains and cutting cylinders all run on the roller bearings to give a very smooth action and long life. The height of the unit rear roller is set at each end on a notched bracket so that the settings can be positively equalised for a level cutting height across the width of the unit.
