The difference between the MAG-1000G and MAG-1000GC is that the "GC" has a carbide bearing spindle to prevent deflection when balancing heavy parts (10 lbs and over). The MAG-1000GC is best suited for people who require greater accuracy in a balancing instrument, and balancing heavy parts.
