MZ 1200DBR is an ultra early maturity grain corn hybrid offering notable yield and test weight. It features rapid spring vigor, facilitating quick canopy closure and flowering one day earlier when compared to E44H12 R. This hybrid shares comparable ear and plant height with its contemporaries and demonstrates notable Northern Corn Leaf Blight (NCLB) tolerance. The ears, typically 14-16 kernel rows, present superior grain quality and adequate husk cover that aids in grain drydown. The plant exhibits impressive stay-green ability and fall intactness relative to other hybrids of similar maturity. Optimal performance is achievable at a seeding rate of 34-37 plants per acre. The hybrid is classified with a Crop Heat Unit (CHU) of 2050 and a Relative Maturity (RM) of 72.
