Marel ATLAS - Live Bird Handling System
The ATLAS (Advanced Technology Live bird Arrival System) live bird handling system features a technologically advanced SmartStack module, consisting of a revolutionary loadable pallet with a variable number of trays (mostly three or four) on top of it. The SmartStack module not only gives high attention to animal welfare, but also increases efficiency considerably. Thanks to the ingenious design of this module, loading capacity can increase up to 38%, which means fewer truck movements and less CO2 emission. At the same time, more headroom is available per bird.
Marel - Custom Bird Grader
Marel Custom Graders for the poultry industry are tailor-made for each individual customer, so their shapes and sizes are virtually unlimited. These graders range from simple weight graders to highly sophisticated grading systems that include infeed and batch takeaway systems.
Marel - Compact Broiler Grader
The economical Compact Grader has a strong and robust design with a user-friendly interface. Suitable for simple grading and batching of a wide variety of products, the grader is designed to fulfill the needs of small and medium sized companies. The grader is also an ideal add-on for larger companies requiring a machine that can handle temporary or seasonal overflow needs that do not justify the expense of a full-size grader.
SmartLine - Broiler Grader
SmartLine Graders offer the speed and accuracy of previous generations of Marel Graders, with greatly enhanced hygiene and serviceability. With its complete modular design, the SmartLine can be configured to meet your grading needs. The grader has an IP69K rating and can be stripped down and reassembled in seconds. Its unique open frame design and minimal horizontal surfaces ensure maximum hygiene during high-pressure wash-down. The open frame design also enables complete serviceability access.
GP Turkey Container Supply System
A well-executed and humane supply of live turkeys significantly contributes to the overall efficiency of any turkey processing plant. The modular Stork GP live bird handling system ensures high animal welfare and great effectiveness while loading and transporting turkeys from the farm to the processing plant. Heart of the system is the GP container, with a design that is perfect for the welfare of the turkey and good for the ergonomics of the loader. The container is durable and easy to clean, a necessity for long problem free logistics and the prevention of contamination.
Marel - Live Bird Crate Supply Systems
Individual crates or crate stacks are transferred to a roller conveyor. Crates are weighed both full and empty after birds have been removed and hung to the shackles of the overhead conveyor. After the second weighing crates are conveyed into a crate washer to be pre-washed (related to type), cleaned, disinfected and rinsed. If stacks of crates are handled, an in-line de-stacker de-stacks crates before the first weighing and a stacker assembles them again into stacks them after washing. The system ends at the loading platform which can serve as a buffer before crates are loaded on the truck. System lay-out depends on capacity, available space, type of crate washer, and supply method.
