Technology

Pomac - Frame and Structure

The whole frame and the various structures of the machine are designed using the Finite Element Method (FEM). All machine components are designed and drafted in 3D using SolidWorks. All machine components are made using numerical control machines. The machine components are assembled by specialised technicians using jigs.

Pomac - Weight Distribution Machine

To get the perfect balance of the machine, during the design stage a great deal of attention was focused on weight distribution.

Pomac - Accessibility for Machine

The side of the machine is perfectly accessible thanks to the carter placed on its left side. The sturdy hook springs that connect it to the machine body allow a quick and easy opening, allowing easy cleaning and careful maintenance of the machine.

Pomac - Harvesting Head

Pomac harvesters mount the head with the lowest angle of incidence on the ground compared to the competitors: only 21 degrees. This technical peculiarity means that the harvesting procedure is carried out in a delicate and natural way, guaranteeing a quality of the product comparable to that of the tomato harvested manually.

Pomac - Driving Position

The driving position is designed to facilitate the harvesting process and simplify the duties of the driver through the field. For this purpose, the entire driving apparatus is centrally located with respect to the tomato collection line and in a lowered position which gives the driver the best view.

Pomac - Plants Unloading Belt

The plants unloading belt is an exclusive Pomac harvesting technique. It is designed to maximize the expulsion of the stems and leaves, preventing them from interfering with the subsequent tomato selection process.
