Merschman Seeds sold its first bag of soybeans we have diligently worked hard in redefining Service, Quality, and Innovation when it comes to our soybeans. In 2013, Merschman Seeds will be introducing 50% new products to our lineup with 19 varieties ranging from 2.0 to 5.4 in maturity. In 17,752 yield comparisons Genuity Roundup Ready 2 Yield Soybeans outperformed first generation Roundup Ready Soybeans from Pioneer and NK by 3.8 bushels per acre on a national average proving that 2 is better than 1 when it comes to yield. Merschman Genuity Roundup Ready 2 Yield soybeans produce more beans per pod, more pods per plant and more bushels per acre over first generation Roundup Ready soybeans, this includes “Y” Series soybeans. This new trait technology involves inserting the Roundup Ready gene into the area of DNA that positively impacts yield above and beyond just breeding.
