AutoDos - An Electrically Operated Controlled Dose Spray Applicator

The AutoDos is a high quality metered dose spray applicator developed for the professional forester, horticulturalist or amenity user. The sprayer is electrically operated from a small rechargeable 12V DC battery with an electronically controlled pump delivering a precise and repeatable metered volume of spray liquid. This allows the professional user to accurately apply herbicides, insecticides, growth regulators or plant nutrients and to effortlessly treat several thousand plants or trees in a single day. The AutoDos is supplied with a ten litre backpack supported on an ergonomically designed lightweight aluminium back frame with metal lance and integral thumb switch. The battery, electronic controller and pump are housed in a tough hermetically sealed GRP case for superior durability. The combination of nozzle tip and pressure control flow valve allows the user to set a measured and repeatable spray volume. The sprayer can be operated in continuous mode for band applications.

Micron - Model Herbi 4 - Handheld Spinning Disc Sprayer

The Herbi 4 is a hand held spinning disc sprayer for the Controlled Droplet Application (CDA) of herbicides. It can use CDA formulations or traditional water-based products at total spray volumes of only 10-30 litres/hectare. The consistently large spray droplets of around 250 micron minimise any risk of spray drift and fall in a precise 1.2m wide circular spray pattern.

Herbidome 600 - A Hand-held Shielded CDA Sprayer for Post Emergent Herbicides

The hand-held Herbidome 600 is a spinning disc sprayer for the Controlled Droplet Application (CDA) of post emergent herbicides in row crops such as cotton. It can apply CDA formulations or traditional water-based products at total spray volumes of 10-30 litres/hectare in a circular 600mm spray pattern. Its freely rotating shield minimises drift and avoids damage to crops. The Herbidome 600 is supplied with a shoulder strap and is powered by 4 x D cell batteries. It can be connected to either a 5 or 12 litre backpack. The reduction in mixing and filling operations (with no mixing or filling operations required with CDA formulations) offers operator safety advantages.

KS16 - A Good Quality, General Purpose, Lever Operated Knapsack

The Micron KS16 is a good quality knapsack sprayer suitable for a wide range of agricultural and horticultural uses. The sprayer is designed to be robust and easy to maintain and features an internal piston pump and pressure cylinder, comfortable adjustable shoulder straps, wide neck and filter for safety of filling operations and a 16 litre tank. Seals are resistant to most agrochemicals. The following optional accessories are available: a range of additional nozzles, CFValveTM, telescopic extension lance and spray shield. We also offer a selection of spare parts including a replacement spray lance and trigger valve.

The Herbidome 350 has been developed for use in a wide range of weed control situations. A rotary atomiser, designed for Controlled Droplet Application (CDA) application of herbicides, is mounted under a flexible circular shield which rotates freely resulting in efficient weed control and significant labour savings.

Spraydome - A Range of Circular, Shielded Sprayers

ncorporating either traditional pressure nozzle (HiFlo models) or CDA spray system (CDA models), Spraydome shielded sprayers are ideal for treating weeds in situations where a complete chemical barrier is required. Spraydome's flexible plastic dome fully contains the spray which makes it highly suited for applications where chemical contact with the crop is not desired - for example, in blackcurrants and blueberries. Thanks to its hard wearing shield material, the sprayer is also highly suited for more demanding spraying tasks such as amenity spraying (fence lines and footpaths) and weed control round the base of mature trees. Spraydome is fitted with a breakaway system that gently rolls the shield around the sprayed objects protecting them from mechanical and chemical damage. The CDA models offer significant time and cost savings as spray volumes as low as 20 litres per hectare can be achieved.

Undavina - A Range of Shielded Sprayers Specially Designed for Herbicide Application Around the Base of Vines and Fruit Trees

Designed for weed control in vinyeards and orchards, the Undavina features a dome-shaped soft brush design which rolls closely around the base of the plants to ensure maximum weed kill. Due to its flexible structure, it is also recommended for weed control round young plants where it should be used with the vinyl cover to protect the sensitive stems from spray damage. Plant health is also protected by Micron's breakaway system which gently deflects and rolls the shield around young plants to avoid damage. The units can be supplied with CDA or pressure nozzle spray system and in dome diameters of 250mm, 400mm, 600mm or 900mm to suit the row spacing and treatment width required. Optional vinyl cover is available for sensitive plants.

Varidome - A Range of Shielded Tractor-Mounted Sprayers for Row Crops

Varidome is a range of shielded inter-row sprayers for eradicating weeds growing in between rows and wheeling areas. Varidome is suitable for use in oil seed rape, sugar beet, maize, onions, carrots, parsnips, leeks and many other crops including ornamentals, herbs and tree nurseries. Varidome design incorporates shielded heads which can be individually adjusted to allow operators to treat variable inter-row widths. The toolbar configuration can also be easily changed to fit different row widths and bed heights. Varidome is available in the following options: Varidome S1 - the single section unit which allows growers to spray widths of up to 3m. Varidome S1 comes with a choice of CDA (Controlled Droplet Application) or hydraulic pressure nozzle spray systems. Varidome S3, Varidome S5 and Varidome S7 come equipped with pressure nozzles and can treat up to 6, 9 and 12 metres respecitively.

Microwipe - A Hand-Held Weed Wiper for Application of Systemic Herbicides

The hand held Microwipe has been specially developed for the selective application of systemic herbicides and is particularly suitable for those herbicides containing glyphosate e.g. Roundup. The Microwipe has significant advantages over conventional methods of application such as knapsack sprayers for spot applications or treating sensitive areas . The concentrated herbicide within the Microwipe is applied only to those plants that the rope wick comes into contact with. By moving the Microwipe over the leaves of a weed, a small dose of herbicide is transferred to the target weed only, with surrounding plants uncontaminated. The Microwipe is therefore ideal for treatment of weeds in row crops, vegetable gardens, between grape vines, around trees, or any other place where conventional treatment would be too dangerous or difficult.

Weedstick+ - A Hand-Held Weedstick for Application of Systemic Herbicides

The hand-held Weedstick+ is a precision applicator for the selective application of herbicides to individual weeds. It puts weedkiller precisely where it is needed - on the weed. There is no risk of any spray drift so you can even use it on windy days. The Weedstick+ has significant advantages over conventional methods of application such as knapsack sprayers for spot applications or using herbicides in sensitive areas e.g. flower beds. The Weedstick+ is simply placed over the weed to be controlled and pressed down to dab a dose of herbicide. Use the Weedstick+ when the ground is moist and the weeds are growing well. The ideal time for treatment is between late spring and late summer.
