Hair reflects radiation – a problem that can hardly be overcome for conventional laser systems. MKW masters this barrier innovatively by using superior light guides. Thus, the laser light is transported through the fur directly to the skin and without significant loss of light. Especially with long and dense fur treatment with a laser comb is essential. Only in this way is it guaranteed that the laser light can be absorbed by the skin cells with high laser density. Shaving the area to be treated is not necessary. As early as 1991, MKW developed the world’s first laser comb for the treatment of large areas in veterinary medicine.
