Draft-free Munters ZED 1000-1500 ceiling inlets ensure a continuous supply of fresh air into livestock housing while minimizing drafts, promoting a comfortable and healthy environment for your animals. Durable and versatile, ZED 1000-1500 ceiling inlets optimize air circulation without causing drafts. They are crafted from chlorofluorocarbon-free, polyurethane rigid foam insulation. The design of the inlet shutter directs fresh air along the ceiling, minimizing airflow disturbances and preventing uncomfortable drafts for your livestock. Self-opening and automatic closing mechanisms ensure effortless operation and energy efficiency.

IS air inlets are designed as ceiling or roof inlets for livestock houses. The patented star diffuser ensures that the incoming air stream is accurately controlled and radially distributed to create a uniform climate inside the house. During cold periods the incoming air needs to be heated before it reaches the animals. The unique design of the IS star diffuser directs air horizontally out when it is set to small openings. In this way, the cold incoming air is mixed with the hot air near the roof. If a ceiling is installed, the air can be directed along it, taking advantage of the Coanda effect for which the airflow “sticks” longer to the ceiling, which allows for more mixing time between the cold incoming air and the hot air near the ceiling. During hot periods the demand for ventilation and fresh air increases. The star diffuser responds perfectly to this change in ventilation demand: as its blades open more, the diffuser starts to direct more air down towards the animals.
