Sea Bream belongs to the family of Sparides. Its scientific name is Sparus aurata. In the wild it is found mainly in the Mediterranean Sea and in the eastern coastal region of the North Atlantic Ocean. Sea Bream is one of the most widely cultivated species of Mediterranean aquaculture. The main countries producers of farmed Sea Bream are Greece, Spain and Turkey. 

Sea Bass belongs to the Maronidae family. Its scientific name is Dicentrarchus Labrax and in the wild it is common mainly in the Atlantic Ocean, the Mediterranean Sea and the Black Sea. It is the second most important species in Mediterranean Aquaculture. The main countries producers of farmed Sea Bass are Greece, Spain and Turkey. 

Its scientific name is Argyrosomus regius and in the wild it is found mostly in the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea. Meagre is an aquaculture fish, rich in taste and nutrients. It can be even 1.5m long and may weigh up to 30kg. The fact that Meagre is a big fish means that there are a lot of opportunities for processing. Its commercial weight starts from 1 kg and can reach 5 kg, providing solutions and meeting various needs in the fish market.

Realizing the importance of vertical integration, Nireus invested from the very early in own production of Fish Juveniles together with our other activities. This way we have succeeded in being self-sufficient in terms of Fish Juvenile requirements, which are supplied to our on-growing farms. At the same time we supply Fish Juveniles to a significant number of customers in Greece and abroad who seek top quality seed for their on–growing farms.

Our fish feed are designed in such a way so that the combination of raw materials optimizes the relation between quality, cost and results. All the natural raw materials are systematically checked in privately owned laboratories as well in other associated ones in Greece and abroad. In this way we achieve the top quality and safety of the produced fish feed and therefore the aquaculture fish.

Complete feed for marine fish species of medium energy. Composition 47/17 is designed for fattening SEA BREAM (Sparus aurata) during the warmer months. Composition 43/18 is designed for fattening SEA-BREAM during winter. Composition 44/16 is intended for economical year-round fattening of both SEA-BASS (Dicentrarchus labrax) and SEA BREAM (Sparus aurata).

This line is designed to fully cover the increased nutritional needs of juvenile during the first stages of pre growing from 0,3gr to 5gr.
